Wedding Ring

Before my father left for war, he buried his wedding ring in the ground. When he returned 4 years later, he dug it up. I have it now. He has been gone nearly 20 years. What should I do with his ring? Pass it on? Give it to a museum? Get buried with it? Thinking. ox #mom #dad #love #amazing

Since i was... Never a Bridesmaid, I missed the whole experience. Now i get to watch Meme prepare for her friend Sasha's wedding. There was the typical convo on #FB about price V. wear. I didnt have a Jewish wedding. I didnt have a baby shower with your brother. I bought you three outfits at Zody's. I washed your socks in the sink at night. I made you liver. I cleaned up the liver, yuck. I taught you to read. I bought you dried fruit cuz you said biting into apples hurt your teeth. I had your teeth fixed. I gave you siblings. I gave you amazing grandparents. I gave you a family. I made flash cards for you. I made you ponytails galore. I baked with you. I took you on walks. I told you i loved you all day long. I dressed you up. I put you in handmade dresses. I put bows in your hair. I read aloud to you. I made you great parties. I found God with you. I sold my jewelry for you. What's real, who knows? I have stopped Keeping up with the Kardashians. Im afraid the wedding may have been the shark jump for me. What will happen to Kim? Will she have a break down, real or not? I just dont get it. Kim worked so hard to make us forget the sex tape and now we are back at the beginning, doing something, anything for money. What about love, marriage and things being real. Im afraid for some, the lines are blurry. xx

I heard it's all about perspective. As i watched Kim's wedding, i thought... nice groom, but i'll take the cash. Meaning i just wanna make some money..........i want to be successful like Kim! My daughter watched the wedding and it made her cry for her dad. I did warn her! I saw Kris and Bruce on E news and Bruce mentioned Kim crying for her dad. Then my daughter started crying and cried the whole next day, too. Funny how it comes out of no where. You live it every day and try to accept it. Then you watch a wedding and the pain comes rushing back. xx

Whenever i think of my wedding, i think of my wedding planner. Alice was a sweet women but we didnt get the wedding we wanted. We had great ideas that she shot down. It was 1976 after all. Who ever heard of black Roses and girls carrying the rings? Twenty years later the planners are jumping thru hoops of fire. It's their wedding... the motto would be. Not in 1976, not Alice, not for us! xx

Chelsea Clinton was married in a designer gown. Only thing missing was her boobs. She definately needed Diane... the professional Boobologist, from Diane and co.   Someone needed to go in and pull those puppies up. Lift and separate, the bra commercials said, when i was lil. Too bad Diana and Co. wasnt there to do the boobology job! xx

Here are my best tips! Hope you enjoy! ! 1- All brides should have a hanky. wiping nose on fingers is not ok. Even Tori Spelling was guilty of that. Gasp! 2- I think Umbrellas are cute for bridemaids and flower girls. Leaning them fwd creates a look, can be twirled in wedding colors. Cute! 3-long before Rock the Reception, i thought of choreographed ceremonies. Brides and grooms singing to each other. Wow! 4- it's a circus! As bride walks down the aisle, circus performers spin, flip, leap down the aisle, too! Why? cuz marriage can be a circus and you have to focus on each other, only! Great! 5-vintage idea...have your bokay made with corsage inside. Before you throw your bokay remove corsage for honeymoon! Sweet! xx
