Somewhere during Caitlyn Jenner I remembered my childhood and gender. Or lack there of. In Hungarian, there is no gender, apparently. I spent my entire childhood reminding my parents I was a girl. He...my dad would point to me... I was mortified! I was a girly girl and had enough insecurities! My dad would say sorry...there is no sex in Hungary. Book signing/ Dean McDermott

When I first learned of Dean's book signing at the Grove, I immediately called my daughter. Of course she was busy that day and I thought things through. Because of transportation issues I decided I really could not afford it. Tori would probably be there, maybe the kids, maybe not. I have a theory that if I get really ready, Tori could cancel. That has happened. So, I usually get 90% ready. I would be happy to see just Dean, but the whole family would be great! Then the Guncles were coming, with their kids!!! Would have been perfect. Beyond perfect! One of those things. I sent out a money txt , SOS! TORI! ...money came in that night! I cried! As the event got bigger and bigger (Mehi, too) I did txt my daughter and say....I wish I could see Tori...no answer. That's another post. I could call this post... Just a bite ...

Years and years ago, I would make my husband a sandwich after dinner. For some reason I thought it would be cute to take one bite! I thought it was cute funny and meant I love you. My signature was on it! Flash forward decades....I'm thinking that was weird ...that was germs...that was his sandwich! So our son goes out in the world and meets a REality star from a famous family. The guy, I'll call Nick, told my son a funny story. He said when he was lil, his mom would pack his lunch. Not hating... but did anyone else kringe when Kim and Kroy declined a C- section, with twins?! Usually when the Dr. says "I think a C-section would be best" most people, especially with twins, would say, OK! I almost died, while they sorted things out. potato salad

I wonder if that guy ever made that potato salad? I love my mom's recipe, maybe I should send it to him.  My neighbor shared her potato salad with me. Very simple ... Potato, mayo n olives. You can make it a million ways.  My mom's had potato, egg, mayo, lil mustard, diced green onion n celery, grated carrot. Crunchy n colorful, lots of textures. I love mom's best!
