#sitsBlogging inspired me...

I have thought of writing this post, wondering if it's too silly. So, a lil tongue in cheek and a lil true. Here goes. So the kids are off from school on vacation! The first week is great. No driving, Family time,bonding. It's great. By the second or third week you might need some alone time. This works for me. You tell the kids,tomorrow we are going to clean. Say it over and over. We are going to bed early and we are going to clean, tomorrow...all for one! Tell them over n over to get a good night's sleep. So of course, what happens? They stay up late and sleep in. That's ok, its part if the plan. You go into kitchen calling their names, splash around a bit. That's it! Alone time. Might not work for all families but it works for mine! Lol #tip #sitsBlogging

I recently heard that coffee should be consumed before your nap. Since it takes 20 minutes to take affect. I was thinking that also works for calling DMV DWP... #tip

Hair stylin' xx

On a recent episode of RHONY tongues were wagging! Especially with Sonja's cosmetician! The topic of gossip and hair dressers came up. Here's our story... We took DJ for a blow out. The hair stylist was nice and came in on her B'day.  She planned on going out to lunch afterwards, so she brought a small  group with her.  There was another hair stylist in the bunch.  Somehow, the topic of being gay, came up. She started going down a list of  Hollywood Celebrities, that are gay. She would get to name and then ask her friend to confirm it. Who? ... yes... she would say...he's gay.  Well, that really shocked me.  Not only the list... but the fact they were reciting it, out loud! I never REpeated the list, to anyone, anywhere. I am the daughter of a hair stylist...& proud to be! I guess it's true ...your hair dresser, really does know, for sure! xx  #itip #bigtipper #RHONY #Bravo

Christmas in July- Monkey bread

We buy monkey bread, once in a while. Next time we will add raisins and then coconut and pecans. If you make coconut chicken with pecans, you can share the ingredients.  I always start with fresh ingredients. #tip * I got the coconut... i got craisins...next Monkey Bread.  Will post pic. xx

Every item I open has a danger for #Pets.  Plastic wrap, plastic tabs and rings.  I just opened eye drops with many hazards!  I keep a zip lock bag in my room and gather all the dangerous items ...then I REcycle  the whole bag!   #tip  #Pet  #REcycle
