LOOKING BACK....

I dont care much for Holidays anymore. They use to be my whole life and i miss them. End of year holidays are the worst, as i tend to look back on my life. The last few years have been a living hell. Lots of pain and loss. But to look on the bright side.... a few good things did happen. My oldest bought me clothes. My son is speaking to his ex. My daughter got a new car... i get to drive around in. Hopefully this will be my year to shine. I miss my parents, especially my mom. I have to be my own good advice, my own cheerleader. I need to stretch their love for me forever......................its ok there is enough to go around! xx

Christma VS. Channukah

Christmas is over in minutes. Channukah lasts over one week. You can alternate big and small nights. If you are sick one day or get snowed in you have another day to get it right. Christmas has more of a build up and possible let down. Channukah goes on and on. Christmas is over in a flash. Glad i celebrate both....it's a nice balance. I like it when Channukah is early and doesnt run thru xmas. Sometimes we go back and forth between the holidays. When Dreama was lil, a family friend said...let's have Kwanza next year! That was 5 yrs ago.....Darrell i'm still waiting! xx

Duggars

I hope things are going well for Josie Duggar. I have prayed for her and hope really that...this is it! I want To Hear Michelle Duggar say...I am done, happy, grateful...couldn't ask for more. I am blessed to have the family i do. I am finished having children. I know it probably won't happen, but it would be music to my ears. xx

Ginger not Mary Ann

We have three red headed grandchildren. To be honest it is hard for me. My husband didnt like red heads, didnt want red heads, so of course we had three in a row. First one, really surprised, 2nd one, shocked, and third ready to laugh. Of course they are all beautiful, smart and creative. Of course i love them and of course their grandpa would have loved them too. My son has 1 red sprout on his head of brown hair and we joke he was gonna be a red head, but changed to brown for his dad. When i was in grammer school, it wasnt good to be a red head. Or to have freckles. Or to be too tall, thin, fat, or have a funny name. So i was worried.....all for nothing..... reds were very popular for quite a while. But then something happened...........and it caused me to worry once again! xx
