A Roast for three xx

Today i made a roast and thought of my mom. When i was a newlywed and had a child, she would buy us a little roast. She did so, because she got herself one, to share with dad. I cant eat if you dont, she would say. Thanks Mom for thinking of us, my little family of three....... 1976 xx

Thankful for enemies xx

I never thought i needed any enemies. Once they arrived i didnt know what to do with them! Then Joel Osteen explained why they are so important. They help make us what we are. If i were never hated, i never would have become what i am today. I had to dig deep, deeper deeper. Constantly working on me, REinventing me, Pushing me. I can finally say, thanks to my enemies.........xx

The Hills are alive....sorry i couldnt resist lol. I do celebrity Gifting with Celebrity Chitt. I was pleased and surprised to hear we received a Thank you note from Lauren Conrad! That shows a person's character to me and shows they have manners, and were taught well. Lauren you are a class act! xx

Barbara and Buster

My daughter saw something in the bushes, running scared in the dark. She stopped her car and found a scared, cute little kitten. Although they were both scared of each other, he came to her. He trusted her and she brought him home. We put him on Craig's list, not an easy decision, but then Barbara called. She only wanted a male tabby and came to see him. She had waited years to add another cat to her family. They were introduced and it was love at first sight. We visited for a few minutes and then it was time to go. As they left, i asked Barbara to call us and let us know how things were going. We thought about him every day and hoped they were happy together. A few weeks later Barbara called and all was well! He already had all his shots, and V.I.P. treatment! :) We exchanged pics on line and were even invited over! I was so thrilled, as it had been years since i was invited anywhere. I looked forward to a life long friend! Suddenly the emails stopped, and we thought of every possible reason. Then the worst news came in. Our sweet, beautiful, earth- angel, Barbara was diagnosed with Non -Hodgkin's Lymphoma! I went into shock! I prayed and prayed everyday. I could not believe it was happening. She had waited so long to be Busters mommy and there were 2 girls and 3 grandchildren along with Buster. I prayed she would be well and live for Buster, but sadly, that was not the case. Our precious earth- angel was given her angel wings.........after all she did for Buster, i know she is in Heaven, looking down and guiding all of us with love. xx
