When to get out...

of an abusive relationship. I got out eight years ago. Jennifer Schipsi wasn't so lucky. I often wonder if my timing was right? It never, is. Why did Jennifer stay those last few months? He owed her money and she wanted it. How did she forgive him for spitting in her eye? Maybe he begged her to stay. Make him look good for family and friends. Funny, she died the day of his last class for domestic violence. Not funny, ha ha. Like he didn't need her any more. Class is over, you are dismissed. xx

Really Russell?

Russell Simmons has a billion dollar company with hundreds of employees. So i was a lil surprised when on show #2 of his reality series, Running Russell, he resorted to a flash! Apparently there was a Basic instinct moment involving one of the interns. Really Russell? Then on show #3 or 4 there is a reference to Domestic violence, involving model Amber Rose. Like i tweeted on Twitter, there is no excuse for violence. xx

Eminem released his new video and it is stirring up controversy. Are they glorifying Domestic Violence? Or just the video? Scandal sells. Period. I have survived two abusive relationships One was the father of my children, the second a live in boy friend. My husband was addicted to drugs and sex, unfortunately. My boy friend is an alcoholic. I left him 7 yrs ago and lost everything. That relationship was hard to leave because he was the salt of the earth all day and then when he drank OMG. There are no easy answers and i have no advice. Except to have a nest egg, exit plan, support of family and friends. I had none of those but work hard every day to make it all alone!xx
