of the Mountain................i never the saw the movie, but remembered my sis in law did. We were about 18 and newlyweds. I remember Denice said the movie left quite an impression on her. She wasnt going to complain about anything any more. Just be happy with what she had. Denice didnt have much, but a good heart and lots of love. We lost Denice in Jan, much too soon. She joined two brothers, also taken too soon. So when i saw the movie in the channel listing.............i did watch. I also thought of Denice and i too, was truly inspired! xx

Smoky and the Banker! xx

I know i am old. Still it's hard to believe, there use to be smoking allowed in banks. I was about 11 years old, went into a bank, on a hot summer day. When our transaction was completed, the teller closed the two tiny wooden doors between us and lit up a cig! Right there, at work, on top of me, she blew smoke. Just lit her match and inhaled. Worked so hard on my deposit, i guess. Had to take a break! Hard to believe, but true. I remember thinking......... it's way too hot for that, lol.........xx

Kardashian Event! xx

I heard it's all about perspective. As i watched Kim's wedding, i thought... nice groom, but i'll take the cash. Meaning i just wanna make some money..........i want to be successful like Kim! My daughter watched the wedding and it made her cry for her dad. I did warn her! I saw Kris and Bruce on E news and Bruce mentioned Kim crying for her dad. Then my daughter started crying and cried the whole next day, too. Funny how it comes out of no where. You live it every day and try to accept it. Then you watch a wedding and the pain comes rushing back. xx

New Hat xx

Well i was really surprised Tori and Dean had another girl. It did look like a boy for a while. A perfect lil bump. Also her first craving was an Orange bang. Is that boy or girl, i wondered? I did guess boy, as i sat down to watch Only the Lonely. The first few lines of the movie are Hi Danny Hi Danny Hi Danny .....was that for me, i thought? I was just about to go on Twitter and Tweet Tori. Was that a message for me? I guess not....clearly i have to work on my psychic abilities! lol Secretly I hoped for a girl and at times felt it could be a girl. That bundle of pink was a surprise to all and so is her name! Welcome Hattie! xx

What 911 meant to me xx

It meant that other kids lost their dads too! Some lost their moms and parents lost their kids. 911 meant to me that i could not just cry for my kids and feel bad for my kids. I had to feel badly for all children who lost their parents that day. It's been 19 yrs for us. If i had one wish, in this whole world, it would be for my kids to have their dad ..... and maybe if i wish really hard.... all children, everywhere! xx
