Walmart costumes

A costume was pulled off Walmart shelves, because it may have been in bad taste. Guess what folks its' Halloween and its all bad taste. Unless you are wearing a Disney costume chances are you will be offending someone. On Sat i went with my granddaughter to her school carnival. There were lots of great costumes. My granddaughter was a chef. One lil girl wore rags and a sign on her neck that read...will work for food..........not funny as many are homeless right now. So why did Walmart pull the illeagle alien costume? Afraid of insulting certain groups, Walmart caved. Halloween isnt the time to be pc! Parents lose their children to accidents....blood and gore! Do we think of them? No. People who lose their limbs to accident...do we think of them? no! So why should we worry abou an illeagle alien costume....its just Halloween after all! xx

Bruises on your arm!

There was a girls at the bank, and she had bruises on her arm. Not just regular bumps in the night, they actually looked like fingers, that had grabbed her. I wanted to ask her about it . I wanted to tell her, that it's not worth it, no one is. I wanted to tell her, she is young and there is help out there. I wanted to tell her to be strong and that i care. I didnt say anything to her but i pray for her and hope anyone in the same situation sees themselves here, like i do, and has the courage to get out! xx

Balloon Boy.....

As the balloon sales away,we review what we learned. There is fame, there is infammy, There are felonies. Fame was achieved, but at what price? Maybe a show will be realized, which would be good as they need the money!

I have new merch and i picked up Kourtney K's bib today. I am driving home my Drink, but dont drive line, wrote to Kat Von d and donating for school auctions. I held a chocolate tote contest on Jens list. Very successful, go figure! :0 Hoping to do more. Will be taking orders with chocolate Nov 1-Feb 14.

Feel Good!

I like to watch Joel Osteen on Sunday mornings. I share his sermon with my family. It has helped me get through some hard months and years. Last week he spoke of the brain and how powerful it is. Whatever message it sends the body, the body believes and responds. I thought it was cute when he said ........"you get up in the morning and say I FEEL good, I LOOK good, I SMELL good, I AM good!"................So that's what i do! :)
