Salad summer

This will be the summer of salads for me. Why heat up the house and our bodies, when we can enjoy salad several nights a week? Lettuce plates topped with nuts, fruit and cheese are one kind of salad that can be made many different ways. Seven layered salads made at least 7 different ways. That's 49 layers. :) This is just the beginning of my salad summer! xx

No room at the Inn

I would like to release the following statement. There is no room at the INN. I was recently asked to take in someone for a visit. I no longer do that. I no longer help people, take people in etc. I made that big mistake 7 years ago. I took in someone that i loved. Past tense. I opened my home, heart, and wallet. But it wasnt enough... i was lied to, stolen from, and was slandered, by a liar. I loved this person and thought i knew this person 27 years. I was stabbed in the back and my mother disrespected. I would be crazy to ever take in another person, or try to help another person out. I will continue to help the needy and homeless. I will flip a u-eeeeee in traffic to help a stranger. But i will never take in another person after that horrible, life-changing, experience. I can only learn my lesson from God and have to say sorry... there's no room at the INN!!!
